An Omega Green Acne Facial is a photodynamic therapy (PDT) treatment that uses chlorophyllin copper complex and allantoin to treat acne and rosacea. It's designed to reduce inflammation, heal wounds, and strengthen the skin barrier. The Omega Green treatment is for clients with acne or rosacea. It uses Chlorophylln Copper Complex and Allantoin to help heal the skin and reduce inflammation. CCC also slows the growth of certain anaerobic bacteria on the skin. How it works: A topical photosensitizing solution is applied to the skin A light source, such as blue light, red light, or intense pulsed light (IPL), is focused on the skin The light activates the photosensitizer, which causes abnormal cells to produce porphyrins The light, oxygen, and porphyrins destroy acne cells and bacteria Benefits: Can reduce the size and activity of oil-producing glands Can help with inflammatory acne and rosacea Can help with compromised skin barrier Can be detoxifying and soothing Can help with wound healing Can have antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties
